Historical win for Chichester City

Danny Potter’s Chichester city team secured promotion in the Isthmian South East play-off final with a thrilling 5-0 victory over Three Bridges at the Jubilee Stadium.

For the first time in the club's history, Chichester City will play in Step 3 of the football non-league pyramid next season.

The visitors set the precedence for Friday evening with Josh Clack scoring the opener with barely 30 seconds on the clock. The visitors took a commanding 3-0 lead going into the 1/2 time interval with 2 further goals from Joe Clarke and Lloyd Rowlatt.

The 2nd half was equally as exciting; Connor Cody made it 4-0 in the 63rd minute before Joe Clarke ended Three Bridges misery, scoring his 2nd of the evening and making 5-0, in front of an incredibly noisy Chichester City following of fans, who swarmed the pitch on the final whistle.
