The Hogsback Chapter visited St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Chichester on Thursday, 18th July, after the successful visit in 2023.
Approximately 15 Harley-Davidsons arrived at the Hospice to the cheers of employees, volunteers, and patients, all eager for a ride.
The Chapter spent time engaging with visitors and patients, snapping photos and sharing conversations about the motorcycles.
Following some refreshments, the riders offered trips on their bikes to Emsworth and back. Over 30 passengers, including employees, volunteers, visitors, and patients, joined the riders. Each passenger was outfitted in leather jackets and helmets, ready for their excursion, accompanied by the thunderous roar of the engines.
A special moment was when a patient from the Ward was moved to the outside of the Hospice while in her bed so she could still be part of the occasion. An individual rider moved his bike next to her bed frame, allowing the patient to get an up-close look at the iconic bike.
St Wilfrid’s would like to thank the Hogsback Chapter for attending the Hospice and putting smiles on everyone’s faces.
