The products getting cheaper in Sussex's Morrisons stores - as supermarket slashes prices

Over 130 essentials have had their prices cut - including in Littlehampton and Bognor Regis branches

Supermarkets across Sussex have announced a slice in prices in a bid to help shoppers' money go further throughout January. 

Morrisons have slashed costs of essentials such as washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets, as well as food basics like vegetables and chicken. The supermarket giant hopes it'll help people with their weekly shop following the "expense of Christmas and as the cost of living crisis continues to impact household grocery budgets."

What shops are included in the cut?

Morrisons says that prices will be reduced in all of their stores - and that "the majority of products can be found online."

That means in West Sussex Bognor Regis and Littlehampton's shoppers can benefit from reduced prices.

What items are getting cheaper?

All items included are within their "Savers", "Wonky" and "Essentials" ranges. The store adds they'll have displays to clearly point to what items have been reduced. 

The most notable price drops include for their Chilli Con Carne - which is over 50p cheaper at 97p - and their bio laundry powder, which has fallen from £3.30 to £2.69.

Savers Orange Marmalade - 33p, down from 52p

Savers Orange Juice - 75p, down from 89p

Savers Muesli,  £1.25, down from £1.39

Savers Italian Style Hard Cheese - £1.59, down from £1.70 

Savers Pasta Sauce - 39p, down from 57p

Savers Long Grain Rice - 48p, down from 71p

Savers Tuna Chunks in Brine - 55p, down from 65p

Savers Chilli Con Carne - 97p- down from £1.49

Savers Plum Tomatoes - 28p, down from 33p

Savers Tomato Ketchup - 36p, down from 79p

Savers Fish Fingers - 69p, down from 79p

Savers Beef Lasagne - 75p, down 89p

Savers Mild White Cheddar - £2.99, down from £3.19

Savers Cheese and Tomato Pizza - 89p, down from 99p
