In honour of the late Queen Arun Distract Council have announced that the services they provide will differ on the day of Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral.
The authority made the announcement on their website along with many other organisations in West Sussex as well as up and down the country.
Many shops, restaurants and businesses are stopping all services for the bank holiday to pay respects to Her Majesty.
Arun District Council has confirmed that on Monday 19th September the offices will not be open for the day.
As well as the temporary closure all refuse collection in the are will be halted, including recycling and green waste collections.
The council run waste collection service will however return to normal the following Monday, the 26th September.
There is also changes to the Friday collection this week, the service has been postponed until Saturday.
The council have also stated that from 1pm on Sunday this week the public condolence books in both the Bognor Regis Town Hall and the Civic Centre in Littlehampton will be close.
The books will be open again on Monday and the council are encouraging locals to use them on that day.
