Brighton claim three points away at Wolves

Brighton and Hove Albion managed to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday afternoon 3-2 at Molineux Stadium.

Goals from Adam Lallana,  Kaoru Mitoma and Pascal Groß were just about enough to rule out Wolves' two to claim three points for the Seagulls.

Pascal Gross's late strike snatched a 3-2 win for Brighton just as it looked like Wolves would hold on to a point after Nelson Semedo’s first-half red card.

It comes a week after the side beat former Seagulls manager Graham Potter’s Chelsea 4-1 at the Amex Stadium.

That game saw the side claim a much-needed three points, and the momentum for claiming maximum points continued yesterday as they travelled to struggling Wolves.

Speaking ahead of the match yesterday, Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi said he had "already forgotten the last game because if we want to become a great team we must be focused on only the next game.

“Football is beautiful because what you did in the last game is not that important, it’s more important what you have to do the next game. I want good players thinking the same way.

“The last game (againt Chelsea) we played well, we played a very good performance, but the confidence in my players and in my team was the same without a win.”
