
The Health and Safety Executive is looking into an incident where a man received an electric shock during a fairground ride at a St George's Day celebration on Saturday in Chailey.
Sussex Police have reported that the man, who is said to be in his 20s, was injured at the village fair at Marks Tackles Corner near Chailey around 11 am on Saturday and was taken to the hospital as a safety measure.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue made the area safe before passing the situation over to UK Power Networks for further assistance.
Investigations are underway into what happened.
