Chichester Men's Shed 'Shedders' Use Carpentry Skills To Help Nature Reserve

On Monday, 16th October Chichester Men’s Shed delivered 12 bird boxes made by Shedders to Francine Sims of the Friends of Old Bridge Meadow at Bosham.

Following a road improvement scheme a strip of redundant land has been transformed into a nature reserve.

Friends of Old Bridge Meadow is responsible for the conservation management and the encouragement of greater public awareness and enjoyment of the Meadow.  It is a place for wildlife and community to come together and we are giving nature a helping hand by putting up these nest boxes.

Chichester Men’s Shed has a permanent home on the Fishbourne Playing Fields and is open every Monday morning. It welcomes visitors and offers a place for anyone, male or female, aged 18 or more to make stuff, make friends, learn and share skills, socialise in safe and friendly surroundings and have fun.
