The sessions are due to take place every Monday evening at the Regis School

Brighton and Hove Albion are offering free football sessions in Bognor Regis to support men with their mental health.

The sessions, running in partnership with the NHS, are due to take place at the Regis School every Monday between 8:30-9:30pm, and are aimed at men between the age of 30 and 50. Named "More than Football", the project intends to support men with their mental health "by connecting them to like minded people through regular football sessions".

The event's website continues that the football games provide an opportunity for friendship as well as exercise, as well as a space during half-time and cool down which focuses on "making men feel comfortable about talking about their lives".

It adds, "Sessions are supported by people who have lived-experience of mental health challenges and aim to help men to build their networks of support and self-care in an environment they feel comfortable."

Sessions are also currently taking place at Billingshurst's Leisure Centre. Those looking to get involved can book via a space via the Albion in the Community website
