Littlehampton Boy Collects 92 Football Shirts For Uganda Project

9 year old Teddy Bond wanted children there to be able to enjoy wearing a proper kit to play in.

Teddy came up with the idea  after hearing that their family friend, Louise was heading to the country on a volunteering trip.

Teddy said: "Kids love football, and I wanted the children in Uganda to experience the joy of playing the sport with their friends, just like I do."

The shirts were taken out to children in the Kabale region by Louise from  Worthing who had swapped her role as MD at Tiger Marketing for 12 days on the One Love Project in Uganda.

Teddy even received a video thank you from some of the happy recipients of the shirts.

Louise, has returned from what she calls a  profound 12-day volunteer trip in Uganda. Describing her experience as 'inspiring, humbling, and absolutely epic,' Louise highlights the impactful work accomplished with a committed team of 65 volunteers, working as part of the One Love Project.
