The pool closed "until further notice" after a technical issue
Littlehampton Wave have announced that its main pool will reopen tomorrow following "sterling efforts" to get it up and running.
The non-profit leisure centre's pool is set to open at 6:30am on the 20th of October, four days before their original prediction. The facility was closed "until further notice" earlier this month after an "unforeseen technical issue" made it unsuitable for swimmers.
Sharing the "great news" in a Facebook post, Littlehampton Wave commended their contractors for their "sterling efforts" and told customers that they "are currently working out any forms of refunds".
They continued, "We appreciate your patience a little longer whilst we work through this."
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and understanding and we will be in contact with our members in due course."
Staff advised visitors to check their pool timetable, reassuring customers that swimming lessons will also resume tomorrow.
"We look forward to seeing you from Thursday."
