Local Bognor Cinema to help customers with Cost of Living

A local cinema in Bognor Regis is keeping its ticket prices the same for customers to keep entertainment affordable.

With costs rising across the board for much of the country, there are fears that luxuries such as going to the cinema could become a thing of the past - as households struggle to afford to pay their bills.

The Picturedrome in Bognor Regis, however, believe this shouldn't be the case.

In response to rising bills, they have announced on their Facebook page that they are freezing their prices for 'the foreseeable future'.

This means the cost of their standard weekday ticket will remain at £3.50 - as they believe this will keep customers returning to the cinema.

On Facebook, they donned the hashtag '#keepcinemaaffordable', in a bid to rally further support to keep the industry thriving - despite rising cost pressures.

They wrote:

"Life isn’t easy right now. Utility costs increasing. Petrol costs increasing. Food costs increasing. Everything seems to be increasing."

"We at the Picturedrome understand that a lot of people are currently feeling the pinch, rising costs are certainly hitting everybody hard."

"We want to use this post to reassure all of our customers; past, current or future, that our standard weekday ticket prices will remain the same, at £3.50 for the foreseeable future."

"We may not be able to reduce energy prices, or lower petrol prices, but we can maintain affordable entertainment for our local community."

"We hope everyone who comes to visit us enjoys their few hours of escapism!"

We have a small favour to ask.
