The i360 observation tower in Brighton, designed by Marks Barfield Architects—the same team behind the London Eye—has a new owner.
Sarah Willingham, known for her role as a Dragon on the television series "Dragon's Den," will now helm the iconic attraction.
Launched in 2016, the tower features a 162-meter (531 ft) tall structure and a glass viewing pod that rises to 138 meters (453 ft), providing panoramic views for up to 200 visitors over Brighton and Hove, the South Downs, and the English Channel.
The i360 had closed last year after racking up £51 million in debt to Brighton and Hove City Council. Now, under the stewardship of Nightcap Limited, the tower begins a new chapter debt-free, promising continued awe-inspiring experiences for its visitors.
