Parking scams warning in Arun

Motorists in the Arun District are being warned about parking scams.

Scammers have placed fake QR codes and stickers that redirect drivers to fraudulent payment websites.

While only a handful of incidents have been reported so far, council bosses urge anyone using online parking payment systems to stay vigilant and double-check they’re using official platforms.

The council say only use apps downloaded from an app store, or phone numbers on district council signage by pay and display machines.
