A driver has miraculously survived after a major crash

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash in Hassocks in the early hours of Friday 15th June.

Sussex Police say that they received a report of a car crash in which the vehicle had set on fire.

Photographs circling online show a burnt out vehicle and a number of emergency services at the scene.

Burgess Hill Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene, extinguishing the vehicle.

a Sussex Roads Police spokesman said that “Thankfully there were no injuries to the only occupant.” he also stated there were negative impairment tests for driver.

The exact circumstances of the crash are not yet known.
